About Funua
Privacy
The Gazette is public, but many notices are about private people. We ask search engines not to list their pages, and we hide identifiers in our copy.
What we hide
- National ID, passport, phone, bank account and KRA PIN numbers. Our copy shows "hidden" where the PDF prints them.
- Postal and street addresses.
- The official PDF is unchanged and may still contain them.
Pages search engines are asked not to list
- Pages about private people, including the deceased, petitioners, people who change their name and people who own land.
- Notices that name a private person, such as succession, change of name and most land notices.
- Land parcels whose named parties include a private person, and vehicles.
Public pages
Pages about public officials acting in their role, companies, organisations, offices, courts, places and Acts are open to search engines.
Report a concern
If a page about you or your family worries you, or we matched two people who are not the same, tell us. We handle these reports privately.
